Defending Democracy
Democracy is the core of our society. Eric will oppose all attacks that undermine our right to vote and push for common sense measures like automatic voter registration and postage paid absentee voting. Synenberg supports the constitutional effort to take gerrymandering our of the hands of politicians and pass fair districts.
Protecting the Rights of Women, Workers, Minorities and LGBTQ+ Ohioans
Eric will oppose the constant attacks on women, minorities and LGBTQ+ Ohioans. Ohio spoke loud and clear on protecting the right to choose and must repeal old legislation that conflicts. In 2011, Ohioans also spoke loudly on the right of workers and Eric will stand up for collective bargaining.
Fair School Funding
We must fully fund our schools from Columbus. Our kids deserve a quality education. When the state fails to fund our schools, the burden falls on local property taxes that disproportionately hurt seniors and Ohioans on fixed incomes.
Ending Gun Violence
Every Ohioan deserves the right to feel safe in their own home and neighborhood. It is way past time when common sense gun reform needs to be passed to save lives and our communities.
